A drive-by shooter hit a 14-year-old boy in the shoulder in the area of Bayers Road and Romans Avenue in Halifax early Tuesday night.
Halifax Regional Police took a teenage boy and girl into custody for questioning shortly afterwards.
After the shooting, the victim walked with his friends to a police office located in the Halifax Shopping Centre and arrived at 6:25 p.m. When he was initially hit, he thought someone in a passing Honda Civic had thrown a firecracker at him.
